How each chapter works

Every chapter follows the same four steps, so you always know where you are and what is left.

  1. Read

A short text with everyday examples, written in plain language.

  2. Check

A quiz with feedback on every answer, not only a score.

  3. Try

A small task you can do with any AI tool you already use.

  4. Finish

Your progress is saved, and the next chapter opens.

Where the content comes from

The texts are written for this site. Each chapter ends with the sources it relies on, including:

  • The EU AI Act, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744
  • The OECD definition of an AI system (2023) and Google’s Machine Learning Crash Course
  • Research on language models, such as Kalai et al. (2025) on why models hallucinate
  • Research on bias, such as Buolamwini and Gebru (2018), Gender Shades
